SIRT6はlong-chain fatty acyl lysineを脱修飾し、TNFαの分泌を促進する

これまで、SIRT6は脱アセチル化酵素として知られていた。

今回の報告では、SIRT6はmyristoyl lysine等を始めとしたlong-chain fatty acyl lysineを脱修飾する事、TNF-αのfatty acylationを脱修飾する事により分泌を促進することを明らかにした。
