高脂肪食を負荷したラットは、低用量streptozotocin投与により、血糖が著名に上昇する

今回の研究では、高脂肪食を2週間負荷したラットに、35mg/kg streptozotocinを投与すると、インスリン低下や著名な血糖上昇を認める事。これらの変化は、通常食を与えたラットでは認められない事。等が明らかになった。
