今回の研究では、BMIや腹囲をmatchさせた肥満者の皮下脂肪組織において、インスリン抵抗性の無い集団は、インスリン抵抗性のある集団に比べ、①小 型脂肪細胞が少ないこと、②SREBP1cの発現が高い傾向にあること、等が明らかになった。
